Once they are on, there is no need to remove them. These mountain bike fork seal covers act as a pre-wipe. They wipe away any dirt, dust and mud that has accumulated onto your mountain bike forks. This will prevent the debris from getting into the fork seals . If dirt gets into the seal, it will tear the seal and will cause the forks to be replaced. The SealSavers Zip-On MTB have a unique dual-flap zipper protection system that protects the forks from the nylon zipper. Mountain bike fork protection is important for the performance of the bike. These mountain bike fork seal covers work on any mountain bike or e-bike fitting forks ranging from 30-40mm forks.
- SealSavers Zip-On MTB are durable and washable and will not effect your fork damping or preload.
- Simply wrap around and zip the SealSavers Zip-On onto the fork tube, then wrap the strap around/under the fork brace to secure them in place.
- Most importantly, when washing your bike, flip up the bottom side of the SealSavers Zip-Onto wash any small amount of dirt that has gathered. Most importantly, be sure to flip the SealSavers Zip-On back down before they dry.
- You can remove to wash and re-install, however be sure to have spare zip-ties and is not recommended.
